Dec.9-2009 Successfull South African trade mission

AMSTERDAM - December 9, 2009

From November 30th till December 4th 2009, CityFilm’s Stefanie Schachtschabel, Anton Mynott and Desiree Brouwer took part in a trade mission that was headed by Erica Terpstra, president of the Netherlands Olympic Committee. and organised by SANEC, the Southern African Netherlands Chamber of Commerce.

CityFilm looks back on a very successful mission. Desiree: “We have a good impression of what is all going to happen during the World Cup. We were taken on a tour around Soccer City in Johannesburg and we even attended the gala dinner hosted by the Dutch embassy the evening before the official FIFA World Cup Draw. We established some useful and inspiring contacts, most likely thereby expanding our broadcasting channels with various parties. And above all: I fell in love with South Africa and cannot wait to start CityFilm Cape Town in February!”

At this very moment Anton Mynott is in Johannesburg, working on the trailer of Johannesburg which was recorded in the last week of November and will soon be published on our video portal.
