With its 760 000 inhabitants, Amsterdam is a relatively small European capital. The size, however, is not representative of the diversity the city has to offer: museums, shops, restaurants and a fantastic nightlife are to be found in abundance. The historic inner city is enchanting: it’s interlaced with canals and there is little traffic. It breathes the atmosphere of a village.
